Dunkin Premium Brer Rabbit Figurines |
Year |
c.1980 |
Country |
Spain |
Description |
This is a miniature, molded plastic Brer Rabbit figurine in the same style as the earlier Marx Brer Rabbit figurines from the 1960s. These were supposedly made in the 1980s by Dunkin and were included in boxes of cereal in Spain. |
Variations |
Many different colors were produced, including yellow, blue, green, orange, purple, red and white. |
Notes |
More research is needed on who made these and in what products they were included. I've seen many different manufacturers listed including Dunkin, TITO, and Malabar. Possible uses as premiums included chewing gum, detergent (such as Omo and Ariel) and cereal such as Kellogg's. If you have any more information on exactly where the Brer Rabbit figurine came from, please contact me! |
