Welcome to Song of the South Radio!

As part of our special 60th Anniversary Celebration here at SongoftheSouth.net, we're playing over 60 renditions of songs from Song of the South, courtesy of Live365.com. There's dozens of artists that have performed songs from this movie over the past 60 years, and here's where you can hear them, both popular and obscure. (So, how many of you can say you've heard "Sooner or Later" sung in Spanish?) I've even thrown in a few old radio spots as well!

Sit back, relax, and enjoy the memories!

Help Keep Song of the South Radio On The Air!

Did you enjoy the radio program? Would you like this to become a permanent feature of SongoftheSouth.net? I would greatly appreciate it if you would consider making a small donation to help keep this radio program on the air! This costs me $30 per month to operate, so if 30 visitors only donated $1 each, it would be paid for! Thanks in advance for your support!

Q. Where did you get all these songs?
A. All songs here are from my personal collection. Dozens of these songs do not exist on CD or tape and so they had to be converted from original 78rpm, 45rpm, and 33 1/3rpm records, which I digitized from a Califone 1455K 4-speed record player.

Q. Is it legal to be broadcasting these songs?
A. Yes! Live365.com allows for the broadcasting of music in which the songwriters are affiliated with ASCAP, BMI or SESAC. All of the songwriters for Song of the South's songs are affiliated with ASCAP.

Q. Can I download these songs from you?
A. Due to copyright restrictions, that isn't possible.
