The End of an Era: Unfortunately, Live365 shut down in 2016, so Song of the South Radio is offline. If I ever find another radio provider, I will try to bring this feature back. Sorry folks!

What began as a special tribute to 60 years of Song of the South, has now become a permanent feature at SongoftheSouth.net! We're playing over 60 renditions of songs from Song of the South, courtesy of Live365.com. There's dozens of artists that have performed songs from this movie over the past 60 years, and here's where you can hear many of them, both popular and obscure. (So, how many of you can say you've heard "Sooner or Later" sung in Spanish?) I've even thrown in a few old radio spots as well!

Sit back, relax, and enjoy the memories!

Thanks to everyone's support and generous donations, Song of the South Radio has become a permanent feature of SongoftheSouth.net!

Q. Where did you get all these songs?
A. All songs here are from my personal collection. Dozens of these songs do not exist on CD or tape and so they had to be converted from original 78rpm, 45rpm, and 33 1/3rpm records, which I digitized from a Califone 1455K 4-speed record player.

Q. Is it legal to be broadcasting these songs?
A. Yes! Live365.com allows for the broadcasting of music in which the songwriters are affiliated with ASCAP, BMI or SESAC. All of the songwriters for Song of the South's songs are affiliated with ASCAP.

Q. Can I download these songs from you?
A. Due to copyright restrictions, that isn't possible.

Here's what's playing!
