Synopsis / Contents |
Dr. Owl is the judge for a jumping contest. Just when it looks like Brer Frog is going to win the competition and the prize (a strawberry cake), in comes Brer Rabbit, hopping higher and further than anyone had ever seen! He jumped so high that he dove head-first into the strawberry cake, and his shoes fell off revealing big springs inside. Everyone angrily chased after him for cheating, and he ran as fast as he could until he lost them. He reached a river and took off his clothes to take a bath. Suddenly, Brer Fox appeared across the river, and tried to get Brer Rabbit to come out. When Brer Rabbit refused, Brer Fox decided to go get him because the water was only up to Brer Rabbit's knees. He didn't know that Brer Rabbit was standing on a pile of rocks, so he fell completely in the river allowing Brer Rabbit to escape. |
